What: CASA’s primary fundraising event of the year is a fun-filled evening featuring local celebrities dancing with local dance instructors and competing against each other. Local celebrity judges will rate each couple’s performance, and with audience votes added in, determine the “Critics’ Choice Award” winners. Competitive dance judges will determine the “Merit Award.” Sponsorships, ticket sales, online votes and Sponsor A Child donations determine the “People’s Choice Award” winners. The event not only offers a dance competition but good food, drink and music.
The Annual CASAblanca: Dancing With the Local Stars is an event not to be missed!
Why: Proceeds from the event support the work of specially trained CASA volunteers who advocate for children in the Tenth Judicial Circuit who have experienced abuse and neglect.

Tim & Peggy Crane
Tim and Peggy Crane have been in Peoria for 11 years. They have two sons, ages 20 and 12. The oldest attends Baylor University (their alma mater, and where they met). Peggy has practiced law since graduating from Tulane Law School. Tim works for Caterpillar. They have been married for 27 years and care deeply about their community and justice work. Tim and Peggy were led to CASA by dear friends and are honored to support the amazing work that CASA does.
Kevin & Summer Sletten
Kevin and Summer Sletten are honored to serve as Event Co-Chairs for CASAblanca 2026. Their commitment to CASA of the Tenth Judicial Circuit spans many years of supporting the organization with their time, resources, and personal involvement. Kevin currently serves on the CASA Board, and Summer has returned to serving as a CASA Volunteer, advocating for children who need a consistent voice in the court system.
Kevin is a Managing Director with Hilltop Private Wealth of Raymond James and a graduate of Bradley University. Together, Kevin and Summer have been involved with a variety of organizations including CASA, Young Life, Dream Center Peoria, Friendship House, and foster care through Children’s Home. Their connection to foster care has made CASA’s mission particularly meaningful to them and their four daughters, Lyza Gray, Lucy, Alice, and Kylie Jet.
As Co-Chairs, Kevin and Summer are proud to celebrate the volunteers, supporters, and advocates who make CASA’s work possible. They are excited to welcome everyone to CASAblanca 2026 and hope the evening inspires even more people to join CASA in providing a voice for children who need one most.
